Balgowlah VETS 9-Hole Competition
When: Mondays, 8:30am – 9:30am
Looking for a fun and friendly way to enjoy your Mondays? Join our Balgowlah VETS 9-Hole mixed competition, designed for golfers aged 55 years young and over. Whether you’re a seasoned player or new to the game, this welcoming group offers the perfect opportunity to socialise, stay active, and enjoy some light competition.
Come for the golf, stay for the camaraderie—make new friends and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of our beautiful course. Grab your clubs and experience a great start to the week with us!
“Birdies” Ladies 9-Hole Social Game
When: Mondays, 7:00am – 8:30am
Start your week on the right foot with the “Birdies” Ladies 9-Hole Social Game! Open to all women, no handicap required, this fast and friendly round of golf is perfect for both seasoned players and beginners looking to enjoy a relaxed game in a supportive atmosphere.
Whether you’re a local or visiting the area, you’re welcome to join us for a morning of fun, fresh air, and great company. It’s the perfect opportunity to play a quick round, meet new friends, and enjoy the game without the pressure of competition.
18-Hole Competition
When: Tuesdays, Tee off between 8:30am – 9:30am
When: Wednesdays, Tee off from 6.50am or later from 10.40am
Test your skills and sharpen your competitive edge with our 18-Hole Competition every Tuesday. Open to all members of Balgowlah Golf Club and visitors with a Golf Australia Handicap, this is the perfect opportunity to challenge yourself and improve your game.
Tee off between 8:30am and 9:30am and experience a well-organized competition on a course designed to bring out your best performance. Whether you’re fine-tuning your skills or aiming for a personal best, this is the place to compete and excel.
9-Hole Competition
When: Thursdays, Tee off at 8:30am
Join us every Thursday for our 9-Hole Medley Competition, open to all members and visitors. Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or a beginner looking to get into the game, this competition offers a welcoming environment for players of all skill levels.
Tee off at 8:30am and enjoy a competitive yet enjoyable round. Beginners are encouraged to participate, making it the perfect opportunity to gain experience while having fun. Book your spot through the pro shop at 9949 2057.
Balgowlah Teachers & Businessman’s Social Golf
When: Thursdays, Tee off at 2:30pm (During School Term)
Take a break from the workweek with our Balgowlah Teachers & Businessman’s Social Golf, held every Thursday during the school term. This 9-hole event is open to all members and visitors, offering a relaxed and enjoyable way to play a round of golf with friends and colleagues.
We’ve been playing together for over 30 years, and the tradition continues with mid-week golf trips during school holidays, arranged by the club. It’s a perfect opportunity to unwind, meet new people, and enjoy the game in a laid-back environment.
“Swingers” Ladies Social Game
When: Fridays, 7:30am – 8:30am
Start your Friday mornings with the “Swingers” Ladies Social Game! Open to all lady golfers, whether you’re a member or a visitor, this social 9-hole game offers a fun and relaxed way to enjoy your golf. It’s a great way to connect with fellow players, work on your game, and kick off the weekend on the right note.
